Lynette is the CEO and founder of Knovva Academy in Boston, MA since its inception in 2014. She is also the founder of the GiantBug Foundation that serves the higher education global market with high impact educational programs. Prior to starting Knovva Academy and GiantBug, she facilitated her family’s business with her expertise in sales, branding and international distribution, and was ultimately successful financial investment trader who leveraged her earnings to fund Knovva Academy and her passion for higher education. Lynette hails from California Institute of Technology with a major in Economics.
Yuxi oversees all global sales as well as leads accounting, finance and legal. Prior to co-founding Knovva Academy, Yuxi had years of experience in financial reporting and corporate accounting, as a financial accountant in the private equity and technology industry. Yuxi holds a B.L. in International Business and a M.S. in Accountancy from Bentley University and is a Massachusetts registered CPA.
Benson leads Talent & Culture at Knovva Academy. After graduating from Boston University and Bentley University, with dual Master’s degree of Nonprofit Management and Business Administration, Benson had dedicated himself in nonprofit organizations and social enterprises. He has been working to fill the gap among the imbalance of economic and social development, especially in educational inequity between China and the U.S. Prior to Knovva Academy, Benson led the first Habitat for Humanity China program, and was one of the founding team members of the Harvard SEED social innovation program.
Ross is an entrepreneur and educator serving as the Chief Learning Officer at Knovva Academy. He leads Knovva’s academic team in developing their online and one-the-ground educational programs for students all around the world. An alumnus of the Harvard Graduate School of Education, he has worked as a researcher at Harvard Medical School and the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in public health research and intervention design, and he has worked as a Teaching Fellow in graduate courses at Harvard in applied psychology and human development. Before joining Knovva, Ross founded a free youth summer camp in northwest Alaska and co-founded an international leadership firm based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
Gen has previously served in United States Government and International Monetary Fund, executing several multinational financial projects for sustainable development across the developing world. Prior to this, Gen worked for PriceWaterhouseCoopers and Rockefeller & Co. He earned an MBA degree in Finance from the George Washington University, and he holds a BBA in Accounting and BSc in Applied Science. Gen is a senior member of the the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
Patricia is an attorney specialized in Public Administration, Corporate Law and Public Services. She served in different Universities as a law professor, and also has worked for the United Nations as a consultant covering Latina America and Europe. As an attorney, she has worked for private companies on corporate affairs, practiced in public affairs, won scholarships in the U.S. for their Young American Leaders program, the Indian parliament, and the French Government. She also has been invited to become a researcher at Harvard University. Patricia holds a Masters degree in Public Administration from the Harvard Kennedy School and a Masters in Corporate Law with a specialization in Public Services by the Pontifical University at Peru.
Febian leads the technology team to fulfill the business requirements required by the education market. He has successfully co-founded and sold two startups before joining Knovva Academy. He was a professor at the Pune University teaching network security to graduate students. Febian holds two masters degrees; one in Computer Application from Pune University, India and another in Finance from Bentley University.
Dipesh has more than 16 years of experience in technology, primarily in the mobile, robotics and IoT industries. Dipesh’s balanced portfolio of extensive experience involves implementing software technology, driving strategy, and building and managing teams in professional services, sales engineering, product management and marketing. Prior to joining Knovva Academy, Dipesh built and ran the product marketing team at Kony, Inc and the marketing team at KINGSTAR where he increased annual revenue by 33% at both organizations. Dipesh has a B.S. in Information Systems from Carnegie Mellon University and an MBA from Babson College.
Dean has over 20 years of experience running design teams for small and large scale companies, and has worked with some of the most revered brands such as Bosch, Thermador, John Deere and Pella Windows. Prior to joining Knovva Academy, Dean had won numerous design awards and ran the design team that branded Auction.com that he delivered into a globally recognized brand. Dean has a degree in visual communications from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
