What is G7?

The Group of Seven (G7) is an international intergovernmental economic organization consisting of the seven largest economies in the world: Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States. As of 2018, these countries represent 58% of the global net wealth and more than 46% of the global GDP.

What is G7?

The Y7 is the annual youth summit associated with the G7 Summit. Delegates to the Y7 develop policy statements representing young voices addressed to the G7 leadership.

The Y7 Summit brings together emerging youth leaders from G7 countries and the European Union to develop concrete policy recommendations for the G7 leaders. It aims to build upon the work being done by the G7 leaders while also offering a new, youthful perspective on critical policy issues.
